Anabel fell in love with the jewelry business not long after she fell in love with Bayardo. Together they built Hannon Jewelers into Baton Rouge's premier fine jewelry store. Among other responsibilities, she oversees all steps in production, quality control and ensures that all customer requests for services are met on time. Anabel's touch is present in every aspect of the business, from decor and advertising to her stunning creations on the shelves. She brings beauty and artistry to each facet of the business, and truly is the heart of our system.

In 1940, Bayardo's grandmother founded his family’s jewelry store in Central America. A 3rd generation jeweler, Chris has been pounding away at the jewelry bench for over 34 years. He is not only a phenomenal bench jeweler with a long celebrity clientele list (including two first ladies) but also a wonderful, talented artist, animator, storyteller, wise-cracking cut-up, and Baton Rouge’s only jeweler to hold the title of Certified Master Bench Jeweler from Jewelers of America. When one first meets Chris in our on-site design studio, his passion for meeting new people, learning about them, and creating new pieces for them is immediately evident. Upon meeting him, he may fool you with his comedic approach to jewelry design, but rest assured, he is a fountain of knowledge in his craft and meticulous to the very minute details. Our clients and friends often comment about how much fun they had while creating a special item for them. Whether it might be a tiny treasure given to a parent from a small child, a family heirloom restored and handed generation to generation, or anything one can imagine in between, Chris has the coffee pot on and the midnight oil ready to burn. Always excited to please those who entrust us to help “celebrate their moments.” Once your journey with him begins, we are very positive you’ll find the perfect one-of-a-kind treasure. It will be handmade, by Chris, right here in our studio. You will be very pleased that you did.
